With no explanation where the name Chunk comes from, we suspect it refers to a well-fed childhood. Whatever it is, these days it’s just the beats that are heavy. Kicking drums and funky bass are the order of the day when Chunk is on the decks.

Compulsive record digger and music nut, this Pushin’On resident’s sets cover anything from reggae to rap to rockabilly. On a special freestyle vinyl-only set with Koflow, anything could and probably will happen.
Aidan Bamrah | Bamrah Brothers
One half of the brilliant Bamrah brothers, Aidan is a talented rhythmist who specialises in Afro-Brazilian and Funk and has shared the stage with the likes of Billy Cobham, Johnny Kalsi, Chico Cesar and Wicked Aura. Catch his percussive brilliance and infectious energy as he collaborates with the DJs into the night.

‘Live’ funk returns to Pushin’On with Masterpiece & the Lion City Orchestra. Since their debut in 2008 as the house band of Pushin’On, the LCO has championed the timeless sounds of raw funk and soul from the 60’s all the way to the new decade.
